Training
Our core competency at Atlas Reed (UK) Ltd is helicopter hoist operator (HHO) training. We pride ourselves in delivering safe and highly focussed instruction; ensuring that pilots, hoist operators and rescue personnel gain a thorough understanding of helicopter rescue techniques and associated risks.
Much of our HHO training is done in partnership with HeliRescueConsult GmbH; a German company with an impressive reputation across Europe and the US. All of our HHO training exceeds the requirements laid-down in JAR-OPS 3. We specialise in both onshore and offshore hoisting operations, together with long line and under slung load training.
We are happy to send our instructors 'on the road' to deliver training at our customers' own facilities - thereby reducing the overhead costs of student travel and accommodation.
We are planning a number of new courses that focus specifically in training paramedics and doctors to operate as crewmen on SAR helicopter units.
